“2018 Big auction gave me confidence”, Jaydev Unadkat in an interview with Ish Sodhi:
Jaydev Unadkat, Indian Cricketer who has made his International ODI debut in 2013 and T20 debut in 2016 against Zimbabwe.
Unadkat has played with four teams in the IPL, Delhi Daredevils, Rising Pune Supergiants, Kolkata Knight Riders, and recently with Rajsthan Royals.
During IPL-2017, Jaydev Unadkat gave his career-best performance while playing with RPS(Rising Pune Supergiants) under Steve Smith’s captaincy. And he managed to get 24 wickets in just 12 Matches.

Rajasthan Royals needed good players. They placed a big bid on Jaydev Unadkat during the auction and purchased him with 11.5 Crore Indian rupees. He remained the most expensive player after Ben Stokes in that season.
“RR picks players on basis of performance, not for big names”, Unadkat:In the talk with Ish Sodhi, Jaydev Unadkat stated that Rajasthan Royals picks players based on data and performance. They don’t go for big names, unlike other franchises.
