Ireland has created the history against England after winning the 3rd ODI. It is the first time when Ireland has won against England in English conditions. Ireland defeated England in the 3rd ODI by 7 wickets by chasing down the mammoth total of 329 in Southampton.
Paul Starling and Andrew Balbirine scored 142 and 113 runs respectively and did a 214 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket. But after the wicket of Stirling and Balbirine, Kevin O’ Brien and Harry Tector sealed the game for Ireland.
This win was very special for Ireland Because it was their first win on England soil.
Paul Starling got the man of the match award for his brilliant knock. On the other side, Andrew Balbirine also played a key role by scoring 113 runs off 112 balls.
Earlier, Ireland won the toss and opted to bowl first. England scored 328 runs with the help of Eoin Morgan’s ton. David Willey (51) and Tom Curran (38*) also played a key role in scoring a good score on the board.
In this splendid show, Irish commentator Michael McNamee stole the entire show in the end. He got everyone’s attention because he couldn’t control his emotions after the victory.
