David Warner and Michael Slater respond to reports of being engaged in ugly fight in Maldives

IPL 2021 has been suspended by BCCI for an indefinite time. Now the Australian players, Support staff, and commentators who were part of the IPL 2021 are currently quarantined in the Maldives. Australia has banned travel from India, That’s why Australian players and support staff have been staying in the Maldives for 2 weeks. After completion of the quarantine period, They will fly to their respective homes in Australia.

After suspended IPL 2021 earlier this week, BCCI had arranged chartered flights for Australian and other overseas players to stay in the Maldives.

According to the reports of The Sunday Telegraph, Both David Warner and Michael Slater are staying in the same hotel. And they were involved in an ugly brawl and physical altercation at the bar in their hotel.

However, both have denied these rumours and stated that nothing happened between them. As per reports in Foxsports.com.au, Michael Slater said, ” There is absolutely nothing to the rumour mill … Davie and I are great mates and absolutely zero chance of [having] a fight.” 

David Warner also denied the rumours and said,  “I don’t know where you get these things from. Unless you were here and have got concrete evidence you can’t write anything.”

Sunrisers Hyderabad has changed the captain in the mid-season of the IPL 2021 due to the bad performance of SRH. David Warner was very upset after this harsh call from Sunrisers Hyderabad. Now Warner is in the Maldives with other 37 Australian players and Support staff.
