ICC WOMEN’S T20 WORLD CUP 2020:

ICC women’s t20 world cup is being played in kangaroos land Australia. On March 5, two semi-final matches will be played:

1) India vs England.
2) Australia vs South Africa.

India and Australia are in Group A. while South Africa and England teams are in Group B.

How can India reach the finals: In two cases India can reach the finals:-

case1: By defeating England.
case2: If semi-finals wash out with rain.

If there is no rain and the Indian team successfully defeated the England team then, we will see India in Melbourne on March 8.
And If the match will not be played due to rain then India will definitely play in the final.

Is there any reserve day for Semi-final:




A big NO, There is no reserve day for the semi-final match in the ICC women’s t20 world cup. And if those matches will be washed out then Indian Cricket will automatically reach the finals because the Indian team is on the top of Group A category.

On the other side, the South Africa team will also play finals with England team because in Group B South African team is on the top.

Did anyone appealed for reserve day to ICC:

Yes, the Australia cricket team appealed for the semi-final reserve day but ICC(International Cricket Council) denied because, the semi-final will be in Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney and after that final will be played in Melbourne.



“We questioned this and it is not at all per the playing conditions. We respect it because we had said the same thing earlier that we are having a tournament in Australia Huh,” said ICC.

Is there any Reserved day for the Final?

Yes, there is a reserve day for the final match which will be will be held in Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne on March 8.

The minimum number of overs for a game:

According to ICC rules, There should be at least a 10 overs game to complete the match. Otherwise, the match will be abandoned.
