Pakistan’s former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar presents his thoughts through his Youtube channel. Where he has 2 Million followers. Recently, Shoaib Akhtar compared Indian former opening batsman Virender Sehwag with Pakistani batsman Imran Nazir.

According to Akhtar, Imran Nazir had more talent than Virender Sehwag but PCB(Pakistan Cricket Board) could not make his full use. We just wasted the talent.

Imran Nazir, who made his Test and ODI debut in the year 1999 and T20 debut in 2007. He played his last international T20 match in the year 2012 against Sri Lanka.

Imran played 79 ODIs and made 1895 Runs with strike-rate of 81, Along with that he played 25 T20 Matches and Scored 500 Runs with 135 strike-rate. He was a hard hitter opening batsman.

Pakistan could not utilize the best player:

Shoaib Akhtar made PCB(Pakistan Cricket Board) responsible for wasting a genuine young talent of the country. 



It is unfortunate that we do not know how to take care of our brands. We could have had a player better than Virender Sehwag as Imran Nazir.

He had all the shots while also being a good fielder. We could have utilized him brilliantly but we couldn’t, Akhtar went on to add.
