IPL 2020: 5 Worst picks in the IPL 2020 Auction

Royal Challengers Banglore are always in limelight because of his Hard-hitting and Star players batting line-up. This year after buying players Like Aaron Finch, Chris Morris, and Kane Richardson.

Now they are one of the strongest teams who can compete with any team. But this year they have also bought Australian wicketkeeper opening Batsman Joshua Phillipe in the IPL 2020 auction.

He plays aggressive cricket like Aaron Finch. But till now he hasn’t debuted for the Australia team and his name and performance in BBL just like D’arcy Short’s name in BBL. RCB has already 3 Indian opening batsman and they have bought Aaron Finch.

So, If RCB will go with Foreign opening batsman then they will prefer Aaron Finch than Joshua Phillipe and he has also not played in India before this. So, His chances to get the place in playing X1 is very less.

CHRIS GREEN

IPL 2020: 5 Worst picks in the IPL 2020 Auction

Kolkata Knight Riders have bought Chris Green in the IPL 2020 auction as an alternate of Sunil Narine. But his chances to get the place in the playing X1 is very less. Because they have already Indian Spin bowlers like Kuldeep Yadav and Pravin Tambe.

If Sunil Narine will not play then KKR will go with two Foreign fast bowlers. Because their Indian fast bowling department is not as good as IPL requires. So, Chris Green will get the chance to Playing X1 if Sunil Narine will be injured during the ongoing IPL season or He will not perform well. otherwise, ther is no need for Chris Green in the team.

JASON ROY

England Hard hitter opening batsman Jason Roy has sold out to Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2020 auction. But if We look at the batting line-up of Delhi Capitals, they have already three Indian openers like Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, and Ajinkya Rahane. That’s why the chances of Jason Roy to get the place in the playing X1 is very less.

It is also a record of Delhi Capitals that they don’t play one foreign batsman continuously in the whole season. Therefore, If he gets the chance in playing X1 then it will be difficult for Delhi Capitals to manage their Batting line-up.
