This incident happened When Jimmy Neesham was bowling against Team Canterbury in the Super Smash T20. The New Zealand all-rounder tried to block a booming drive off his own delivery and suffered a compound dislocation.
According to the reports, the KXIP all-rounder will be reviewed by a hand specialist in the coming days. Neesham revealed that he is trying to make a comeback in cricket before the super smash finals.
Cricket wellington said in a tweet, “James Neesham has a confirmed compound dislocation (exposure of joint surfaces) of his left ring finger. He underwent surgery on Saturday night and has been put in a splint.”
After his great performance in World Cup 2019, Kings XI Punjab signed him for the IPL 2020 season. It was the first season of Jimmy Neesham. However, he had a forgetful first season with Punjab.
