New Zealand allrounder Jimmy Neesham had played a crucial role in World Cup 2019. He has also represented Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2020. Recently Neesham is playing in New Zealand’s national tournament. While playing in Super Smash, Jimmy Neesham has undergone surgery after suffering a horrific injury on his left ring finger.
This incident happened When Jimmy Neesham was bowling against Team Canterbury in the Super Smash T20. The New Zealand all-rounder tried to block a booming drive off his own delivery and suffered a compound dislocation.


According to the reports, the KXIP all-rounder will be reviewed by a hand specialist in the coming days. Neesham revealed that he is trying to make a comeback in cricket before the super smash finals.


Cricket wellington said in a tweet, โJames Neesham has a confirmed compound dislocation (exposure of joint surfaces) of his left ring finger. He underwent surgery on Saturday night and has been put in a splint.โ

After his great performance in World Cup 2019, Kings XI Punjab signed him for the IPL 2020 season. It was the first season of Jimmy Neesham. However, he had a forgetful first season with Punjab.
