Mumbai Indians had won their 5th IPL title in the 13th season of IPL. Now, they have started their preparations for the upcoming IPL season. Mumbai Indians have also started their trial camps. Before IPL 2021 mini-auction, Mumbai Indians have called up several youngsters to have a look at them ahead of the auction for IPL 2021.

16 years old Nagaland leg-spinner, Khrievitso Kense has also been called by MI.  Kense has impressed the MI scouting team in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, which is India’s premier domestic T20 tournament. Playing for the Nagaland, the leggie returned with superb figures – he snared 7 wickets in 4 matches at a bowling average was 12.00 and an economy of 5.47.

According to the reports by Eastern Mirror, the MI scouting team has approached Kense for the trails after his match against Arunachal Pradesh. Nagaland boy also two 3-wicket hauls in the next two games.

Now, Mumbai Indians have called up him for trials, which means he will likely be named in the IPL 2021 auction. Hailing from the Tuophema village, if Kense is bought by MI or any franchise, he will become the first player from Nagaland to feature in the IPL.

MI has released their released and retains players list. They have released 7 players in which all foreign fast bowlers except Trent Boult are released by Mumbai Indians. Lasith Malinga, Mitchell McClenaghan, James Pattinson, and Nathan Coulter Nile were released.
