Petition was filed against Virat Kohli for promoting Online gambling

Chennai based advocate filed a petition in the Madras High Court against Virat Kohli for promoting online gambling.

Gambling is illegal in India and online gambling is increasing day by day in India. Many Fantasy apps are available in the market for the Indian people who play every day and lose their money in the seconds.

Virat Kohli should be arrested: Petitioner

That’s why Chennai based advocate has filed a petition in the Madras high court against Team India captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Tamannah for promoting online gambling.

Advocate wants to ban online gambling because it is affecting the youngsters too much and they are getting addicted to it. He said that the gambling companies are using brands like Virat Kohli and Tamannah for promoting gambling.

Kohli and Tamannah Bhatia are doing brainwash people to play online gambling that’s why they both should be arrested.

Chennai Based advocate also shared a case of a young guy.  He took money from others to play online gambling. When He was unable to pay the money back and he committed suicide.

He said that The cases of suicides are increasing day by day in Tamil Nadu. When they lose the money in online gambling.

The petitioner also highlighted that youngsters borrow money at a high-interest rate and when they are unable to make profits at the online gambling sites and when they have no option then they commit suicide.

Advocate also compared the online gambling sites with the blue whale game who got addicted to it.

Nowadays many online gambling sites are present. Dream11, Playerzpot, Myteam11, BetBarter, and many more where people play games every day. Tamannah and Virat Kohli promotes the Mobile Premier League (MPL). 

Professionally, Virat Kohli and Company are set to play the IPL 2020 in UAE. Many cricketers in India have started the training for the upcoming IPL edition which hinted cricket resumption for the Indian cricketers.
