The most awaited tournament IPL 2020 was to be started on 29 March. But Coronavirus Pandemic stopped all over the world as time has stopped for a while. The Indian government had announced the 21 days lockdown in the country due to which BCCI suspended the IPL 2020 until the 14 April.
But, When the Government imposed the lockdown till 3 May. BCCI wasn’t an option to suspend the IPL 2020 for further notice. Although, The news came in the mid that Srilanka cricket board is ready to host the IPL 2020 in Srilanka during this Coronavirus Pandemic. But, BCCI is not thinking about this option now.
After the suspension of IPL 2020 for further notice, Cricket fans started trolling to royal challengers Bangalore and Virat Kohli. Fans cracked the jokes and shared hilarious memes on Twitter.
BCCI also gave a statement on IPL suspension:
“The health and safety of the nation and everyone involved in our great sport remain our top priority and as such, the BCCI along with the Franchise Owners, Broadcaster, Sponsors and all the Stakeholders acknowledge that the IPL 2020 season will only commence when it is safe and appropriate to do so.”
It is the common reaction of the public for the RCB team. Because the men in red haven’t won IPL trophy till now. It was the 13 season of IPL 2020. And this year RCB team had changed their team logo. But, It has been history that Whenever RCB changed its logo something does happen.
