Kohli is playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) ever since the cash-rich tournament IPL has come. Virat Kohli led the Under-19 Indian team in the World cup and after that, he became a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Franchise.

Although There were a lot of ups and downs in Virat Kohli’s early IPL career. But he arose as a consistent performer in IPL from 2013 onwards. In 2013, He was appointed of RCB’s captain. And Kohli led his team in the 2015 playoffs and 2016 finals as well.

Cricket fans are waiting for the much-awaited tournament amid this pandemic that will be commenced from September 19 in UAE.

Recently Kohli opened up of his bond with the RCB franchise. RCB official twitter handle posted a skipper video in which Virat Kohli can be seen talking about his bond with Franchise.

Till the time I play IPL, I will never leave RCB: Kohli

Virat Kohli said, “It has been 12 years. It is such an amazing journey, so surreal. For a lot of people, it’s all about obvious we want to achieve the ultimate goal for the RCB. We have come close thrice but haven’t made it.”

“That’s always gonna be our dream together and I was just thinking there is no way in any scenario that I can ever think of leaving this team, because of the love and care, the franchise has shown.” 


“You can feel emotional about the season going well or not but to have that loyalty with Bangalore, with RCB its quite surreal. Till the time I play IPL, regardless of how we play, I’ll never leave this team,” He concluded.

Virat Kohli is the highest run-getter in the cash-rich tournament IPL. he was also the highest run-getter for RCB in IPL 2019 but his side ended the tournament at the bottom. This year, Kohli and company will try to win their maiden IPL title.

On the other side, BCCI will release the schedule of IPL 2020 shortly. IPL 2020 schedule has not released yet due to COVID-19 cases in CSK camp.
